This website, getsomethinggreat.com, is shared by two related but separate companies that operate under the Something Great name to serve US and Canadian clients. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

• Something Great Marketing LLC, 4670 Yarmouth Ave S, St. Petersburg, FL 33711, USA, is responsible for visitors and clients in the United States, including visitor identification and business outreach to US visitors.
• Something Great Marketing Inc., 2099 Lougheed Hwy A113, Port Coquitlam, BC V3B 1A8, Canada, is responsible for visitors and clients in Canada and outside the United States.

In this policy, "we," "us" and "our" mean whichever of these companies is responsible for your information, as set out above.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form, book a call, email us or sign up for updates, we collect what you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, company and message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our service providers collect technical information, including your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and the site that referred you. We collect this using cookies, pixels and similar technologies.

Information from third parties. Our visitor identification provider may tell us which company a visitor works for and, for some US visitors, business contact details (see the next section). We may also receive business contact information from public sources such as company websites and professional networking profiles.

Visitor identification and business outreach

We use a third-party visitor identification tool, Knock2, to understand which businesses visit our site. The tool matches technical information from your device, such as a device identifier and IP address, against its own data sources, which it states are built from information people have agreed to share.

If you're in the United States, the tool may identify you personally and provide Something Great Marketing LLC with business contact details, such as your name, work email, job title, company, professional profile, and the pages you viewed. The LLC may use this to contact you about our services. Every message includes a simple way to opt out, and we honour opt-outs promptly.

If you're outside the United States, including in Canada, we only receive company-level information, such as the organization you appear to be visiting from. We do not receive your name or contact details from this tool, and we do not use it to contact you.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Run, secure and improve the website
• Respond to your questions and book meetings you request
• Understand how people use the site and which businesses are interested in our services

• Meet our legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information for money.

Do Not Track: our site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals. Use the options above instead.

Sharing, retention, security and transfers

Who we share with. We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting, analytics, visitor identification, email, scheduling, CRM and advertising platforms. They may use it only to provide services to us. We may also share information if required by law, or as part of a merger or sale of our business.

Between our two companies. Something Great Marketing LLC and Something Great Marketing Inc. may share information with each other to operate the website and serve clients. Personal contact details from visitor identification are kept by the LLC and used only for US outreach.

How long we keep it. We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires. Website visitor data is kept for up to 12 months. Opt-out requests are kept on file so we can keep honouring them.

Security. We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Where information is stored. Our service providers may store and process information in the United States, Canada or other countries. Information stored in another country may be accessible to that country's courts, law enforcement and national security authorities.

Your rights

If you're in the United States

You can ask Something Great Marketing LLC to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you
• Correct or delete it
• Stop contacting you, or stop using visitor identification for you

Some states, including California, give residents additional privacy rights. We will honour requests from residents of those states as their laws require. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

If you're in Canada

Something Great Marketing Inc. handles personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act. You can:

• Ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and how it has been used or shared
• Ask us to correct it
• Withdraw your consent, subject to legal or contractual limits

If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.

How to make a request

Email hello@getsomethinggreat.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Children

Our site and services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date at the top, and for significant changes we'll post a notice on the site.
